This project in Kenilworth provided Yancy Landscapes
an opportunity to open up a side yard and create a separate garden
area for the front.
|

This shot shows the extended view now
opened up by the removal of tall shrubbery.
Before, it was closed in and formed
a natural barrier between it and the front yard.
|
|
Mulch was laid thick around
the stone pond and surrounding plants.
What was underbrush is now an open garden area.
|

These marble stones were placed to form
a walkway into the other yard.
This created a flow to the landscape
that was non-existent before.
|
|
Hostas were planted around
the tree that now is the top
of the new yard.
|

Another heavy area of mulch was laid
and ferns, Columbine and Japanese
Spurge were planted.
